How does the M1-C39’s low volume design affect its breathability? Is it suitable for deep-sea diving?
Junhao Lo –
Thanks for reaching out, Bernice! The M1-C39’s low volume design does indeed impact its breathability, but not necessarily in the way you might think. The reduced volume actually helps to minimize water ingress, which in turn allows for easier breathing and improved comfort during dives. This is especially beneficial for deep-sea diving, as it reduces the amount of strain on the diver’s lungs. However, it’s worth noting that the effectiveness of this design ultimately depends on the individual’s diving technique and comfort with the mask. I’d be happy to provide more information or discuss further if you’d like!

I’ve been using the M1-C39 for several dives now, and I’m really happy with its comfort and clarity. The mask is very light and doesn’t feel constricting, even during extended dives. However, the strap could be a bit more adjustable.

The tempered glass lens provides exceptional visibility underwater, and the quick-adjust buckles make it easy to get a secure fit. However, I wish it came with a carrying case to protect it during storage and transport.

What are the different straps and buckles available for the M1-C39? Can I upgrade to a different style?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your review, Loh Jia Hui. The Aropec M1-C39 Low Volume Single Lens Mask comes with two strap options: a 22-inch black silicone strap and a 22-inch white silicone strap. As for the buckles, they are quick-adjust and specifically designed for ease of use while underwater. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer any upgrades or replacement straps and buckles for this model. However, you can consider purchasing a new mask if you’d like to try out a different design or feature.

What are the different material options for the M1-C39’s lens? Can I custom order a different silicone color?
Junhao Lo –
Hello Christy, thank you for your question about the Aropec M1-C39 Low Volume Single Lens Mask. Our M1-C39 mask features a tempered glass lens, which is durable and provides excellent clarity underwater. Unfortunately, we do not offer custom lens material options as the tempered glass lens is part of the standard design. However, we do offer the mask in three stylish color combinations: Black Silicone/White, Black Silicone/Gray, and White Silicone/Pink. If you’re looking for a different color, you may consider purchasing a replacement silicone strap, which would allow you to change the look of your mask without modifying the lens itself. For more information on replacement straps or any other product-related inquiries, feel free to contact us.

How does the lens stay fog-free in cold water conditions? Does it have a built-in anti-fog coating?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question, Aaron! The Aropec Single Lens Mask M1-C39 features a built-in anti-fog coating that helps to prevent fogging in cold water conditions. This coating is applied to the lens and is designed to work in conjunction with the mask’s quick-adjust buckles and strap to ensure a secure and fog-free seal. Additionally, the tempered glass lens is also designed to be easy to clean and maintain, making it simple to remove any debris or contaminants that may cause fogging. Have you tried the mask in cold water conditions? We’d love to hear about your experience!

The Aropec M1-C39 has been a game-changer for me. The low volume design makes it comfortable to wear for extended periods, and the sleek design looks great on the beach.
My only minor complaint is that the buckle can be a bit stiff at times, but it’s not a deal-breaker.
Caleb Low –
What are the differences between the Black Silicone/White and Black Silicone/Gray color options? Are they just aesthetic or are there functional differences?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out about the color options of our Aropec M1-C39 Low Volume Single Lens Mask. Both the Black Silicone/White and Black Silicone/Gray color options are primarily aesthetic, designed to appeal to different styles and preferences. However, it’s worth noting that the color options do not affect the performance or functionality of the mask. The tempered glass lens, quick-adjust buckles, and comfortable strap remain the same across both color options. If you’re looking for a more in-depth comparison, feel free to ask and we’ll do our best to provide more insight!

Can you use the Aropec M1-C39 with prescription lenses? If so, are there any specific requirements or recommendations?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your question, Daniel. Unfortunately, the Aropec M1-C39 is designed for standard vision and is not recommended for use with prescription lenses. The product’s design features a tempered glass lens that cannot be customized with prescription lenses. However, you may consider adding prescription lenses to the mask through a third-party provider who specializes in scuba diving mask modifications. This process typically requires contacting a professional optician or scuba diving supply store for guidance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding regarding this limitation.
