Does the Descent G1 work with both RGBM and Bühlmann algorithms, or must I choose one before the dive? Can I switch mid-dive if needed?

Hi Wei Ming, thanks for your question! The Descent G1 does allow you to choose either RGBM or Bühlmann algorithms, but you set this before your dive via the settings. It’s not possible to switch algorithms during a dive, for safety and accuracy reasons. Please make your preferred selection before you enter the water.

I used this on a recent trip to Tioman, and the display is very clear underwater. However, the strap felt a bit stiff when I wore it over my wetsuit. Overall happy, just wish the strap was softer.
