Overall, I’m thoroughly impressed with the VDive SN03! The breathing tube is incredibly comfortable, and the Shinetsu brand silicone holds up perfectly to saltwater and sunlight exposure. Highly recommended for serious snorkelers!

How do you explain the lack of a quick-release valve, when all other snorkels have it?! It’s a tiny thing, but it makes all the difference when you’re snorkeling in rough waters. Can someone from the manufacturer please clarify?

Our design team opted for a single piece silicone mouthpiece with a smooth 3D bump pattern to provide a more comfortable and secure fit. However, we understand the importance of a quick-release valve, especially in rough waters. I purchased the VDive SN03 for a snorkeling trip to crystal-clear waters in Bintan. The tube is indeed very comfortable to use, but I wish it came with a screw-lock design for the mouthpiece, to prevent it from coming loose while I’m in the water. Still, 4.5 stars for the high-quality materials and excellent performance!

Are there plans to develop a VDive SN03 with a special diving weight system? I’ve seen some snorkels with integrated weights that make it super easy to get to the right depth without having to juggle multiple pieces of gear. Just a thought!

To properly clean the silicone mouthpiece, we recommend using mild soap and warm water. Gently scrub the mouthpiece with a soft brush and rinse thoroughly. You can also use a soft cloth dampened with water to wipe down the mouthpiece for extra cleaning. To prevent any bacterial growth, it’s best to dry the mouthpiece thoroughly after cleaning.
