I was a bit surprised when I saw how big it is. The quality of the writing slate is great, it’s sturdy and feels like it will last a while. The graphite pencil that comes with it works smoothly and I like that it clips into the holster so I can easily carry it around. But I have to say, the packaging could use some work. It was wrapped in a thin plastic bag and the pencil was loose inside. I had to glue the flap together to keep the inside contents from falling out. Minor complaint though!
