The Atomic Z2 Octo – Yellow 36 feels very solid and the yellow hose is bright and easy to spot underwater. I adjusted the breathing resistance easily during my last dive, but wish the mouthpiece was a bit softer.

Is the Z2 Octo suitable for cold water dives, or should I look for another model?

Hi Priya, the Atomic Z2 Octo is crafted with corrosion-resistant materials and can handle temperate to mild cold water conditions, but for extremely cold dives (near freezing), a dedicated cold-water regulator is recommended. Please let us know if you need suggestions for such models.
