Leon Lee –
I recently purchased the Problue AS-568-112 Divers O-ring and I have to say, I’m quite impressed with its quality. The O-ring feels very durable and the packing of 10 pieces including a zip bag is great. However, the minor issue I have is with the instructions manual which was a bit confusing.
Rohan Nabi –
Can you confirm the actual NBR material for the NBR O-ring material?
Junhao Lo –
Dear Rohan Nabi, thank you for reaching out to us regarding the NBR material of the AS-568-112 O-ring. According to our product description, AS-568-112 is an NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) O-ring. Please note that our product description is accurate to the best of our knowledge but may change over time. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Nur Diya Wardah –

Our O-ring is made of high-quality Viton material, ensuring a perfect seal on tank valves from renowned brands. If you could specify which brand you’re referring to, we’d be happy to provide more information on compatibility.

What makes the Problue AS-568-112 Divers O-ring resistant to chemicals?
Junhao Lo –
Hello Zoe, thank you for reaching out! The Problue AS-568-112 Divers O-ring is made from NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber), which is a high-quality material resistant to chemicals, including oils, fuels, and harsh chemicals. Additionally, the AS-568-112V (Viton) variant offers excellent resistance to chemicals and extreme temperatures. We recommend using these O-rings for applications that require a high level of chemical resistance. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’re always here to help. Best regards, Problue Team.

Another purchase, works great with my scuba gear.
Rajiv Simmonds –
Is the AS-568-112V suitable for use with other valves besides AS-568-112?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question, Rajiv! The AS-568-112V (Viton) O-ring is designed to be compatible with a wide range of valves, not just the AS-568-112. It’s a universal seal material that can withstand various types of fluids and temperatures. If you’re looking for a specific application, we recommend consulting your valve manufacturer’s specifications to ensure compatibility.
Farah Jumaah –
Does this AS-568-112 O-ring have UV resistance?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out to us about the Problue AS-568-112 Divers O-ring. According to our product information, the AS-568-112 O-ring is made of NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) material, which generally provides good resistance to oil, fuel, and other chemicals. However, its UV resistance is limited. For optimal performance, we recommend storing the O-ring in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Bryan Wong –
Can other materials replace the use of NBR materials in these O-rings?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your question, Bryan! The AS-568-112 O-ring is indeed made from NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) material. While it’s possible to use other materials, some alternatives may not be suitable for underwater applications like this O-ring. For example, silicone or EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) materials can be used, but they may not provide the same level of durability or sealing performance as NBR in high-pressure environments. If you’re interested in exploring other options, I’d be happy to discuss further. Have you considered consulting with a local diving expert or professional who can assess your specific needs and recommend suitable replacement options?

I’ve been using this O-ring for my scuba diving tank and it’s worked perfectly so far. The material feels durable and resistant to chemicals. I’d recommend it to other divers who need a reliable O-ring. The price point is quite reasonable too.
