   I’m curious about the material used for this O-ring, is it resistant to chemical corrosion? and does it conform to the AS-568-012 standard?

   What’s the difference between this product and the 3040 Problue As-568-006 O-Ring? Are they suitable for underwater use?

     Thank you for reaching out, Leonard. The main difference between our Problue AS-568-012 Divers O-ring and the Problue AS-568-006 O-Ring is the internal diameter (ID) of the O-ring. Our AS-568-012 Divers O-ring has an ID of 12mm, whereas the AS-568-006 O-Ring has an ID of 6mm. Both products are suitable for underwater use, but their sizes make them suitable for different applications. The AS-568-012 Divers O-ring is typically used with H.P hose male adapter AS-568-012V (Viton), which suggests that it’s designed for use with larger hoses.    Can these O-rings be used with high-temperature applications? Also, are they compatible with different types of hose materials?

Regarding your questions, these O-rings are made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR), which provides excellent resistance to high and low temperatures (-40°C to +110°C). However, for extremely high-temperature applications, we would recommend consulting our technical manual for more detailed information. Regarding compatibility, these O-rings are designed for specific hose materials such as Viton. Please note that they may not be compatible with all types of hose materials.
