I have used Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy a few times now, and I must say that it’s a well-made product. However, I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t have a carrying case, which would have made it easier to transport. Nevertheless, the float line with one way fish stringer is very convenient.

I recently purchased this product and I must say, it’s exactly as advertised. The 210 denier nylon fabric with T.P.U coating gives it a premium feel and the speed spike is a great feature. My only minor complain is that the packaging could be better, but overall, it’s a great product.

How reliable is the speed spike feature? Have any of you encountered any issues with it?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review, Cheryl. The Speed Spike feature on our Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy has been tested to be reliable and durable, allowing for easy deployment and retrieval. However, as with any product, there’s always a possibility of issues arising. Generally, our customers have not reported any major problems with the Speed Spike. For added peace of mind, we recommend treating the T.P.U coating on the Speed Spike with our proprietary fabric protectant. Please let us know if you’ve experienced any issues with your product so we can assist you further.

For a professional spearfisherman, the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy did meet my expectations. Its ability to include a one way Fish Stringer & Speed spike was a big plus for me. Would be even better if it came with a carrying bag.

I recently went on a spearfishing trip with the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy and it worked like a charm. The only minor thing I didn’t like was the lack of a detailed instruction manual for assembling it. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic product. Great job, Problue!
Kamala Devi –
Will the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy float with heavy weights?
Imran Hanafiah –
Hi Kamala Devi, thank you for your question about the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy. According to the product description, the Torpedo Buoy is made of 210 denier nylon fabric with a T.P.U coating, which should provide it with a high level of buoyancy. The buoy is also designed for spear fishing kits, often used with heavy weights. Although we don’t have specific information on the buoy’s weight capacity, the construction of the product suggests it can handle heavy loads. We recommend ensuring the buoy is not overloaded beyond its intended capacity to guarantee optimal performance and safety. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to ask us.
Celine Chia –
I had a minor issue with the T.P.U coating wearing off after a few uses, but otherwise, this product works great. The 210 denier nylon fabric is quite strong and can withstand some rough handling. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable Torpedo Buoy. Perhaps consider improving the coating material in future versions?
Junhao Lo –
Dear Celine, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy. We’re glad to hear that the product has generally performed well for you. We’ve taken note of your feedback regarding the T.P.U coating wearing off, and we’ll consider this for potential improvements in future versions. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We appreciate your suggestion and look forward to serving you better in the future.

I recently purchased this Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy, and I must say it’s a solid product. The 210 denier nylon fabric is quite durable and the T.P.U coating gives it a nice finish. However, I had a minor issue with the float line, which came loose on the first use. But overall, it’s a great product and I’m impressed with its performance. I’ve used it for spear fishing, and it has been a game-changer. The speed spike feature works exactly as advertised. I would definitely recommend this product to fellow anglers.
Ravi Kumar –
Are the ropes or lines included in the packaging quite durable? Do they have a limited lifespan since they are constantly exposed to saltwater? Has anyone had any issues with the ropes snapping or breaking during use?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question about the durability of the ropes included in the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy. We understand your concern about the ropes being constantly exposed to saltwater. Our products are designed to withstand the harsh marine environment, and the ropes or lines included in the packaging are built to be durable and long-lasting. However, as with any equipment that is used in water, there is a risk of the ropes snapping or breaking if they are subjected to excessive stress or wear and tear. We have not had any reported issues with the ropes breaking during use, but we do recommend regularly inspecting the ropes for any signs of damage or wear. For your peace of mind, we provide a limited warranty on our products, including the ropes, against any manufacturing defects. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Lowell Chow –
Can I use the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy for scuba diving?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review, Lowell Chow. While the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy is designed for spear fishing, it’s not specifically intended for scuba diving. The buoy is meant to be used in conjunction with a spear gun or other fishing equipment. However, some users may choose to use it for other purposes. If you’re considering using it for scuba diving, we recommend ensuring that it meets the necessary safety standards and guidelines for that activity.
Lai Yueliang –
Are the materials used in this Torpedo Buoy environmentally friendly? I am quite particular about my eco-footprint, and I want to ensure that I am not contributing to pollution in any way. Has anyone had any issues with this product leaking or otherwise harming the marine ecosystem?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns about the environmental impact of our Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy. We appreciate customers who care deeply about the eco-footprint of our products. The 210 denier nylon fabric we use for this product is indeed coated with a T.P.U, making it more durable and resistant to water but also non-toxic, which we confidently claim to be environmentally friendly. The product’s design also aims to minimize the disturbance of marine life when deployed. However for a more definitive answer, you might want to check the non-toxic material list published by our brand on our website.
Wong Zi Jie –
The float line and fish stringer have been quite helpful in catching some great fish? How do you recommend storing the Torpedo Buoy when not in use? Would it be okay to leave it in the sun for extended periods?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Problue AC-107-4 Torpedo Buoy! We’re thrilled to hear that the float line and fish stringer have been helpful in catching some great fish. To properly store the Torpedo Buoy when not in use, we recommend drying it thoroughly and storing it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Leaving it in the sun for extended periods can cause damage to the T.P.U coating, so it’s best to avoid that. You can also consider cleaning and drying the buoy regularly to maintain its condition. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
