The main difference between the male and female designs is the sizing. Men’s rash guards tend to have a larger cut, while women’s rash guards are designed to fit closer to the body. Dear Sharon, thank you for your question about the VDive NS-RA161-S Rashguard. For best results, we recommend washing it in cold water with a mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, as they can compromise the stretchiness of the fabric. To dry, lay it flat or tumble dry on a low heat setting. Regarding the stretchiness, our rashguard is made with ultra-flex functional fabrics that retain their stretchiness after repeated washing. However, to maintain its optimal performance, we suggest avoiding over-drying it, as this can cause the fabric to lose some flexibility. To retain the stretch, we recommend air-drying it or using a low heat setting when tumble drying. We hope this helps! If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
