Sasha Chen –
It was a pleasure to use this Akona Dry Bag 60L on a camping trip. The price, however, felt a bit steep for its quality. The material is somewhat thin.
Rui Pang –
Akona Dry Bag 60L has a lot of space, but sometimes the opening feels a bit small for easy access to items inside. Otherwise, it’s fantastic.
Melissa Lee –
I recently purchased the Akona Dry Bag 60L and initially, I thought it was a good purchase due to its durability. However, I experienced some issues with the zippers which could be improved. I’m giving it 4 stars due to this minor inconvenience.
Jian Zhang –
This Akona Dry Bag 60L performed admirably in a downpour of rain, keeping my belongings completely dry. It weighs only 2.3 lbs.

Who can provide details on the material used to make this Akona Dry Bag 60L, is it nylon or something else?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review of the Akona Dry Bag 60L, Kavin! I’m happy to provide more information about the material used to make our dry bag. The Akona Dry Bag 60L is actually made from a durable and waterproof 500D Tarpaulin material, which is a type of nylon-coated polyester. This material provides excellent protection against water and is perfect for keeping your gear dry in wet conditions. The 500D Tarpaulin material is also very durable and resistant to tears and punctures.

What if Akona Dry Bag 60L had pockets for accessories like a water bottle and keys, that would be awesome!

Can I use the Akona Dry Bag 60L in extreme cold temperatures?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out, Eva! The Akona Dry Bag 60L is designed to be waterproof, but its performance in extreme cold temperatures hasn’t been specifically tested. However, some customers have reported using our dry bags in temperatures as low as 0°C (32°F) without any issues. It’s essential to note that the performance may vary depending on the specific conditions. If you’re planning to use it in extremely cold temperatures, we recommend taking extra precautions to ensure the bag is properly sealed and stored.

I’ve been using my Akona Dry Bag 60L for a year now, and it has been a reliable companion for my water sports activities. The only con is that the dry bag could be lighter.
Evelyn Lim –
Does anyone know why I can’t use this Akona Dry Bag 60L for hot water storage?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Evelyn. The Akona Dry Bag 60L is designed for dry storage and waterproofing of gear, not for storing hot water. It’s not designed to handle heat or temperatures above the ambient temperature. If you’re looking for a storage option for hot water, we recommend exploring other products specifically designed for this purpose. We appreciate your feedback and hope this information helps.

I’m looking for a dry bag to store my valuables while kayaking. Does the Akona Dry Bag 60L have any reflective strips to increase visibility?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out, Rohit. The Akona Dry Bag 60L does not have any built-in reflective strips for increased visibility. However, it does have a reflective logo on the front panel, which can add some visual alertness in low-light conditions. If increased visibility is a top priority, we might recommend exploring other products specifically designed with reflective materials.
Leah Wong –
Will the Akona Dry Bag 60L keep my gear dry in extreme conditions?
Imran Hanafiah –
Hello Leah, thank you for reaching out! The Akona Dry Bag 60L is designed to keep your gear dry in various conditions, including rain and snow. However, its effectiveness in extreme conditions, such as submerged in water or prolonged exposure to heavy rainfall, may vary. It’s also worth noting that the bag’s water resistance is mainly dependant on the seal around the opening. We would recommend purchasing a bag that is specifically designed for such extreme conditions. If you have any further questions, please let us know! I recently took my Akona Dry Bag 60L on a camping trip to Bintan Island, and it performed exceptionally well in windy and rain conditions. The water resistance and durability of the bag were impressive. I’ve recommended it to all my fellow campers.
