Liam Yeo –
I’ve had my Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty for a while now and I’m really impressed with its quality. The material is warm and breathable, and the design is sleek and modern. However, I do wish it had more adjustable straps.
Elliot Wu –
The Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty is a solid, reliable product for divers on a budget. Not flashy, but gets the job done.
Meera Wong –
What’s the deal with the poor durability of the shorty? Mine fell apart after just a few dives. Such a shame, because it was really comfortable.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your concern, Meera. We apologize to hear that your Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty – Man did not meet your expectations in terms of durability. We strive to provide the best possible products to our customers. Can you please contact our customer service team at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) so we can further assist you regarding a possible repair or replacement? I’m not sure what it is about this Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty but it doesn’t seem quite right. The material feels cheap and the stitching is coming undone after only a few dives. I’m very disappointed with this purchase and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
Elijah Lee –
I’ve been using this Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty for my daily dives and I’m really impressed with its flexibility and durability. The design is sleek and stylish, and it’s suitable for both cold and warm waters. However, I do wish it came in more color options.
Alvin Leong –
I’m really happy with my purchase! The Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty has performed well in cold water conditions, keeping me warm and comfortable throughout the dive.
Liam Tan –
Has anyone used this product for freediving? I’m curious about its performance in cold water with no air supply.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out, Liam. The Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty – Man is designed for scuba diving and freediving, but we would recommend it for scuba diving only. While it may be used for freediving, the performance may vary depending on personal preferences and water temperature. Scubapro’s shorty wetsuits are engineered to provide flexibility, warmth, and comfort, but they are not made specifically for freediving in cold water without air supply. However, if you’re looking for a high-quality wetsuit for freediving, we’d be happy to provide more recommendations or insights based on your specific needs.

I’ve used Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty for a few months now and I’m very happy with its performance. It’s comfortable to wear, provides great insulation, and is easy to care for. One thing I’d love to know is how it would perform in really cold water?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty. We’re glad to hear that it’s been performing well for you. As for its performance in cold water, Oneflex makes wetsuits that are designed to provide warmth even in cooler conditions. The 2.5mm thickness of your shorty should provide adequate insulation, but that being said, we always recommend consulting with a diving professional if you plan to dive in extremely cold water. They can assess your gear and provide personalized advice on how to ensure your safety. Would you like to share any additional feedback or ask any other questions?
Samantha Low –
Is it possible to purchase this product in larger sizes? I’d love to get it for my friend, but he wears a more substantial size.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us about the Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty – Man. I’m happy to help. Unfortunately, we only receive this product in the current size. However, I can suggest checking with Scubapro directly to see if they offer a larger size in the future. Alternatively, we recommend visiting a local dive shop in your area, as they may carry a variety of sizes from Scubapro. If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

So I’ve been wearing this Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty for a few dives now, and I must say it’s a game-changer. The material is so soft and comfortable, and the fit is perfect. I’ve worn it in some pretty rough seas, but it still looks brand new. One thing I’d love to know is how long it’ll last after prolonged exposure to saltwater?
Junhao Lo –
Hi Leia, thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with the Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty. We’re glad to hear that it’s been a game-changer for your dives! As for your question about saltwater resistance, we’ve received great feedback from divers on the durability of this product. While it’s difficult to predict its lifespan, many customers have reported no issues or degradation after multiple uses. However, for optimal care, we recommend rinsing the shorty with fresh water after each use and storing it in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent mildew. Would you like more tips on maintaining your new shorty?
Aisha Chew –
How much additional buoyancy does the Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty provide as compared to other wetsuits? Also, are there any plans to release a version with better resistance to scratch-based wear and tear?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on the Scubapro Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty. At Scubapro, we design our wetsuits to provide flexibility and warmth without the need for heavy insulation. As the name suggests, Oneflex is a high flexible shorty, with its 2.5mm thickness providing an optimal balance between warmth and mobility. The Oneflex 2.5mm Shorty doesn’t necessarily offer more buoyancy compared to other wetsuits; rather, it is made to fit snugly without any excess material to avoid drag in the water. However, being made from the Yamamoto YS10 material this wetsuit is extremely supple and does allow for great freedom of movement. As for your second question, we have taken note of feedback regarding scratch resistance, and we will keep this in mind for future design improvements. If you have any further questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.

This is a great shorty for the price. Well-made and comfortable to wear. The quality is high and it has withstood the rigors of frequent diving.
