Maricela Soh –
The breath-holding mechanism works flawlessly! I love how easy it is to use compared to my old snorkel. Do any of you have any experience with customization of this product?
Imran Hanafiah –
We’re glad you’re enjoying the Scubapro Escape Snorkel’s breath-holding mechanism! As for customization, our product does not offer any specific customization options, but you can contact Scubapro directly to inquire about their customization services or third-party retailers who may offer custom fittings. We appreciate your feedback and would love to hear more about your experience with our product.
Rachel Chua –
Is this snorkel suitable for cold water diving?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us about using the Scubapro Escape Snorkel in cold water diving. Although this snorkel is designed for general snorkeling use, it’s also suitable for cold water diving. Its semi-dry feature helps to reduce exposure to water, keeping your face dry and comfortable. However, we recommend pairing it with a wetsuit or dry suit to enhance your overall diving experience. Please note that the removable clip is primarily designed for convenience, not specifically for cold water diving. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’d be happy to help you prepare for your next dive.
Emerson Tay –
Has anyone else experienced issues with the Scubapro Escape Snorkel’s materials getting damaged from the cell phone clip?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for sharing your experience, Emerson. We’d like to assure you that we’ve had reports of some customers’ Snorkels experiencing minor damage to the materials where the cell phone clip is attached. However, this is a design feature that allows for the Snorkel to be easily secured to the user’s wetsuit or swimsuit. The corrugated section that drops away from the face when not in use is designed to be flexible and impact-resistant. We recommend using the phone clip and Snorkel with care, and cleaning the material regularly to prevent damage. We’d be happy to provide a replacement or offer a refund if the damage is deemed to be a manufacturing defect.
Kenny Low –
Can I use this snorkel for freediving?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your question, Kenny Low. According to the manufacturer’s guidelines, the Scubapro Escape Snorkel is designed for snorkeling and scenic diving. However, we wouldn’t recommend it for freediving. The snorkel’s design, such as the corrugated section that drops from the face when not in use, is not suitable for freediving. We’d be happy to help you find a snorkel that’s more suitable for your needs. What made you consider the Scubapro Escape Snorkel for freediving?
Ariel Ong –
What is the material used to make the snorkel’s mouthpiece?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Ariel. I’m happy to help with your question about the Scubapro Escape Snorkel. After double-checking our product specifications, I found that the mouthpiece of the snorkel is made of silicone material. This makes it flexible and comfortable to grip. If you have any further queries or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Ophelia Wong –
I’ve never seen a snorkel design like this before. Is it meant to reduce splashing or something?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your review, Ophelia! The Scubapro Escape Snorkel’s unique design is indeed meant to reduce splashing when not in use. The corrugated section drops the snorkel from your face, allowing you to easily remove it and minimizing water entry. The phone-style removable clip is also convenient and provides extra versatility. We’re glad you’re intrigued by the design!
Kevin Wong –
Hands down the best snorkel I’ve ever used! I’ve tried several other brands but this one is far superior. The flexibility of the corrugated section allows for easy clearing and the phone clip is a lifesaver when trying to get that perfect shot.
Joseph Vincent Tan –
Will this Scubapro Escape Snorkel work for a scuba diving application? I’m considering to get this but I’m worried that it may not be suitable.
Imran Hanafiah –
Hello Joseph, thank you for considering the Scubapro Escape Snorkel for scuba diving. Unfortunately, this snorkel is designed for snorkeling and not specifically for scuba diving. It does not have the necessary depth and pressure ratings for scuba diving applications. However, you may be able to use it with a full-face mask for freediving or technical diving with proper equipment and training. We recommend exploring our scuba diving specific snorkels or consulting with a diving expert for more tailored recommendations. Would you like to hear more about our scuba diving snorkels?

Melissa Abdul –
I recently purchased the Scubapro Escape Snorkel and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. I’ve used it on several dives and the semi-dry technology has kept my face dry even in rough seas. The phone clip is a convenient feature that allows me to take photos or videos without having to remove the snorkel.
Ella Tan –
I recently tried to dive with this snorkel in rough waters and while it performed well, I noticed that the snorkel would occasionally leak slightly when not in use.
Adrian Tan –
I recently used the Scubapro Escape Snorkel on my trip to the Maldives and I was blown away by its performance. The semi-dry design kept me dry even in rough waters, and the corrugated section that drops the snorkel from my face when not in use was a game-changer.
