Has anyone else had issues with the buckle on this BCD coming undone while diving? I’ve had to have it re-adjusted multiple times already and it’s getting frustrating.
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Kenneth. Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues with the buckle coming undone on your Seac Ego BCD. We’ve taken note of your concern and will pass it along to our product team. In the meantime, have you tried applying some dive lube to the buckle to see if that improves its performance? Additionally, we’d be happy to provide you with instructions on how to adjust the BCD properly. Could you please contact our customer service team so we can assist you further? Many other customers have successfully used this BCD without any issues, so we’re confident that a solution can be found. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to helping you get back to diving safely.

Overall, I’m really happy with the Seac Ego BCD! It’s easy to use, comfortable and the material feels very high-quality. My only issue is that I wish it had a built-in weight system to keep everything streamlined.

Can anyone recommend any accessories that pair well with the Seac Ego BCD? I’m looking to upgrade my dive gear and would love some recommendations.
Imran Hanafiah –
Hello Cynthia Teo, thank you for your interest in upgrading your dive gear with our Seac Ego BCD. We highly recommend pairing it with our Seac Sub Mask and a 3mm BCD Wetsuit. The combination of these items will provide you with maximum comfort and flexibility during your dives. Another great option is our dive computer, the Suunto D5, which is designed to work seamlessly with our BCD. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

What drew me to the Seac Ego BCD was its durability and reliability. I’ve been using it for months now and it still looks brand new. One thing I would like to see is more color options but overall, I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
Sharon Lee –
I was looking for a reliable BCD for my diving trips and I must say that this product did not disappoint.
The ergonomics were perfect, the material feel durable and the air supply was smooth. My only wish is that it came
in a more compact form but it’s definitely worth the bulk for the quality.

Does the BCD require an adaptor if used with certain regulators?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out to us! We appreciate your interest in the Seac Ego BCD. The BCD does not require an adapter if used with certain regulators, but it’s essential to check the compatibility of the regulator with your BCD before purchase. The Seac Ego BCD is designed to work with 7/6/5 regulators with a DIN 300 bar valve, which is the most common type of regulator used in SCUBA diving. However, we always recommend checking the manufacturer’s specifications to ensure compatibility.
Marcus Ong –
I was pleased with the Seac Ego BCD overall. However, there is a slight hesitation when switching from gas to manual inflates.
For the price, a better sealing system should be expected. Nonetheless, it still does its job.
