According to Mares’ recommendations, the O-ring seal should be replaced every 6-12 months or as often as every 100 dives. As for the replacement, yes, you can replace the O-ring seal yourself with the proper tools and knowledge. However, if you’re not comfortable with the process, it’s recommended to send it back to the manufacturer or an authorized service center for maintenance.
