I was impressed with Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge w/ Hose/Rubber cover Bar, its accuracy and water resistance was exactly what I needed for our diving trip. However, the hose could be longer so that we can measure at a wider range of angles.
Leong Kok Beng –
Can anyone tell me if Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge w/ Hose/Rubber cover Bar can be used in a swimming pool? Does it come with a protective case?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us! The Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge w/ Hose/Rubber cover Bar is designed for scuba diving and is not recommended for use in a swimming pool. This is because it’s built to handle high pressures found underwater and may not be safe for use in freshwater environments. As for the protective case, it does come with a rubber cover that protects the gauge from impacts and scratches. However, a dedicated protective case is not included. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask! Others, please note that this product is not intended for pool use.

Does the gauge come with a battery backup?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your question, Ethan. Based on our product information, the Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge w/ Hose/Rubber cover Bar does not come with a built-in battery backup. However, it’s designed to work with a standard DIN valve, which typically provides a reliable source of power. If you’re concerned about power loss, you may also consider purchasing a separate dive computer with a battery backup. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

I recently purchased this ScubaPro Standard Pressure Gauge and I must say, it’s been a game-changer for my diving sessions. The gauge is easy to read, and the hose attachment makes it convenient to integrate with my scuba tank. However, I would’ve preferred a smaller overall size to fit better in my dive bag.
Lim Hwee Peng –
Can anyone tell me how do we calibrate Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge w/ Hose/Rubber cover Bar? I have been having issues with accuracy and I want to make sure I’m getting the most accurate readings possible.
Imran Hanafiah –
Hi Lim Hwee Peng, thank you for reaching out about your concern with the Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge w/ Hose/Rubber cover Bar. Calibrating scuba gear regularly is a crucial step in ensuring accuracy and maintaining safety during dives. However, please note that this gauge is typically set at the factory and does not require user calibration. For any accuracy-related issues, I recommend contacting our customer support team or reaching out directly to Scubapro, the manufacturer, as they could provide the best troubleshooting guidance. They may also have calibration services or recommendations for your specific gauge. Would you like to know more about the manufacturer’s recommendations or contact information? We appreciate your feedback and want to help you get the most accurate readings possible.
Ava Tan –
I’m not sure if this gauge is suitable for deep-sea diving. Can someone provide more information on its depth capabilities?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your concern, Ava. This Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge is designed for a wide range of diving applications, including recreational and technical diving. The gauge itself is rated for pressures up to 5000 psi, but when used for scuba diving, the pressure rating is typically limited to the pressure at a maximum depth of 100 meters (330 ft) on a single air tank. It’s always a good idea to consult the manufacturer’s instructions and user manual for specific guidance on safe operating limits. I recommend checking the Scubapro website or contacting our support team for more detailed information.
Rohan Tan –
Can it handle extreme water pressure?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question about the Scubapro Standard Pressure Gauge w/ Hose/Rubber cover Bar, Rohan. This gauge is designed for scuba diving and can handle water pressures experienced during dives. While it’s not specified as ‘extreme,’ it’s built to withstand the pressures of standard recreational diving conditions. I recommend checking the manufacturer’s specifications for more detailed information on its pressure rating and capabilities.
