I’ve been using the Scubapro S560 2nd Stage Regulator for several months now, and I must say it’s a game-changer. The lightweight design and compact size make it perfect for diving in tight spaces, and the techno-polymer barrel second stage is incredibly durable. I love the adjustable inhalation effort feature – it’s so easy to customize to my breathing style. The only thing I wish it had was a slightly longer hose for easier maneuverability.

The SCUBAPRO S560 2nd Stage Regulator is a solid choice for serious divers. What’s your take on its VIVA feature and how does it perform during dive and pre-dive control?
Junhao Lo –
Hi Cecilia, thank you for your thoughtful review of our 2nd Stage Regulator! The VIVA (Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist) feature in the Scubapro S560 is designed to provide a smooth and effortless breathing experience during dives. The VIVA function helps reduce inhalation effort by utilizing the Venturi effect, making it easier to breathe, especially during slow inhalation or at greater depths. The extra high flow exhaust valve also contributes to a more seamless breathing experience. We’ve received many positive reviews regarding this feature, and it’s great to hear that it delivers in real-world diving conditions. Have you had a chance to try out the dive/pre-dive control switch as well? How did you find it? Other divers might appreciate your insights! -Best, Scubapro Support

Overall, I’m very happy with the Scubapro S560 2nd Stage Regulator. The extra high flow exhaust valve makes exhaling really easy, even at great depths. However, the hose does get a bit tangled if not properly secured.
Rahul Patel –
I’ve tried several different regulators, but this one stands out for its ease of use and adjustability. Can you elaborate on how the SCUBAPRO S560 2nd Stage Regulator handles different depth and breathing rates?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with the Scubapro S560 2nd Stage Regulator, Rahul. The S560’s Air Balanced design, combined with the Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) feature, provides consistent airflow at different depths. Additionally, the Extra High Flow Exhaust Valve and Diver Adjustable Inhalation Effort allow for easy inhalation and exhalation at any depth or breathing rate. The Dive/Pre-Dive Control Switch also enables seamless transitions between modes. We’re glad you’re enjoying the adjustability of this regulator and would be happy to answer any further questions you may have.

What makes the Scubapro S560 2nd Stage Regulator so reliable? Is it the precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer case or the diver adjustable inhalation control?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review, Derek! The Scubapro S560 2nd Stage Regulator is indeed a reliable product due to its unique combination of features. While the precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer case contribute to its durability and corrosion resistance, the diver adjustable inhalation control is a key factor in its reliability. This control allows divers to adjust their breathing effort to match their individual needs, reducing the risk of regulator failure. Additionally, the Venturi Initiated Vacuum Assist (VIVA) feature helps to stabilize air flow, ensuring a consistent breathing supply. The Diver Adjustable (VIVA) Dive/Pre-Dive Control Switch and Extra High Flow Exhaust Valve also play a crucial role in making inhalation and exhalation easy at any depth or breathing rate. We’re glad you found the S560 to be reliable! What do you think about the product’s performance in different water conditions?

The precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer case make for a lightweight yet incredibly durable SCUBAPRO S560 2nd Stage Regulator. What are the long-term implications of these materials on the regulator’s performance and lifespan?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you, Evelyn, for your thoughtful review of our Scubapro S560 2nd Stage Regulator. We’re glad you appreciate the lightweight and durable design of the regulator, thanks to its precision molded carbon fiber and techno-polymer case. Regarding your question about the long-term implications of these materials on the regulator’s performance and lifespan, SCUBAPRO’s engineering team has conducted rigorous testing to ensure the reliability and durability of our products. Our carbon fiber cases demonstrate excellent resistance to corrosion and cracking, while the techno-polymer components are engineered to provide a perfect balance of strength and flexibility. In terms of performance, the S560 has consistently demonstrated its ability to deliver consistent airflow and accurate gas delivery over extended periods, even in challenging underwater environments. However, we recommend regular maintenance and inspection to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of your regulator. We’d be happy to provide you with more information or answer any further questions you may have.
