How do the water resistance and breathability of the neoprene compare to other similar products on the market? Is there a noticeable difference in terms of performance?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your inquiry about the Problue GL-6027A Meridian Amara Gloves – 2.0mm. We’re glad to hear you’re interested in the water resistance and breathability of our product. Our 2.0 mm neoprene material is designed to provide excellent protection from the elements while maintaining flexibility and comfort. Compared to other similar products on the market, the breathability and water resistance of our neoprene material hold up well against various conditions. However, we can’t speak for specific real-world experiences without knowing more about the products being compared. If you have any more specific information about other products you’ve used, we’d be happy to hear about your comparisons. Other customers have also found our gloves to be suitable for warm water diving.
Ling Min Low –
I purchased the 2.0mm Problue GL-6027A Meridian Amara Gloves for my recent warm water diving trip. The gloves exceeded my expectations, providing flexibility and protection for my hands. The Amara palm and fingers were particularly durable and comfortable. I liked the Velcro wrist strap feature, which ensured the gloves stayed securely closed during the dive. However, I felt that the sizing chart could be more accurate, as I had to exchange for a different size.
Lev Chan –
The product is excellent. Its ease of use, compatibility with my wetsuit, and overall performance made it a pleasurable experience. However, the sizing chart could be more accurate. I had to return a size S for an M due to the awkward fit. Nonetheless, I’m very satisfied with my purchase.
Reese Lee –
Is the Problue GL-6027A Meridian Amara Gloves – 2.0mm suitable for diving in cold water? Or are there other products in the Problue line that are better suited for that temperature range?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review, Reese Lee. The Problue GL-6027A Meridian Amara Gloves – 2.0mm is specifically designed for warm water diving. While they may provide some insulation against the cold, they are not suitable for cold water diving. For a more suitable product, I would recommend exploring other options in the Problue line, such as their 3mm or 4mm neoprene gloves. These products would be better suited for colder temperatures. Please note that cold water diving requires specialized gear to help prevent hypothermia, so it’s essential to consult with a diving professional to choose the right equipment for your needs.

Tang Kin Joon –
To what extent can these gloves be used in a cold water diving environment?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your review, Tang Kin Joon. We understand your concern about using our Problue GL-6027A Meridian Amara Gloves in a cold water diving environment. However, based on our product description, these gloves are suitable for warm water diving and have a 2.0 mm neoprene construction. While they are versatile and can be used in a variety of diving conditions, they might not provide the necessary insulation for cold water diving. For cold water diving, we recommend using thicker and more specialized gloves. We appreciate your feedback and would be happy to provide more information or recommendations on gloves suitable for cold water diving. Please let us know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else we can assist you with.

Overall, I’m happy with the product’s quality, functionality, and value for money. However, the provided wrist strap sometimes slips off when using the gloves for extended periods. A slight redesign or reinforcement would improve its performance. Still, it’s an excellent choice for warm water diving.
Ong Yen Ping –
Overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. The gloves were a great value for the price and provided excellent performance during my diving trip. My only suggestion would be to include a carrying pouch or case for the gloves.
