I recently purchased this Aropec Candle Diving Torch for my upcoming scuba diving trip and I must say it’s been a game-changer! The quality is top-notch, and the flame is incredibly stable. I was initially worried about the waterproof feature, but it’s been performing flawlessly in wet conditions.

What are the chances of burnout with the wick? Have you experienced any issues with the melt rate of the wax in extreme temperatures?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your concerns about the Aropec Candle Diving Torch, Nagtegaal Tan. We understand the importance of reliability and performance in our products. The wick on our diving torch is designed to provide a consistent burn rate, but like any open flame, there is a chance of burnout if not properly maintained or used in extreme conditions. To minimize this risk, we recommend trimming the wick to the recommended length and avoiding exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures. As for the melt rate, our wax is formulated to perform well within a normal temperature range. However, we have not encountered any issues with the melt rate in extreme temperatures during our testing. If you have any further concerns or experiences, please do share. We value your feedback and would love to hear more about your use of the Aropec Candle Diving Torch.

I’ve been using the Aropec Candle Diving Torch for a few weeks now, and I’m impressed with its performance. It’s surprisingly bright, and the battery life is decent. However, I’ve noticed that the waterproof seal starts to wear off after prolonged use in saltwater.
Natash Leung –
Can I use the Aropec Candle Diving Torch in freshwater lakes or rivers? Are there any specific hand-carling instructions to maintain the waterproof seal?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out, Natash! The Aropec Candle Diving Torch is designed for use in saltwater environments. While it’s built to be rugged and water-resistant, we don’t recommend using it in freshwater lakes or rivers. This is mainly because the manufacturer doesn’t provide any specific guidance on its usage in freshwater environments.
As for hand-carling instructions to maintain the waterproof seal, we recommend wiping the torch clean after each use with a soft cloth to prevent any debris from accumulating. Also, avoid exposing the torch to extreme temperatures. Any further questions or concerns, please let us know!

This Aropec Candle Diving Torch has been my go-to light source for night dives and I’m thoroughly impressed with its reliability and performance. The only minor complaint I have is that it can get quite heavy when fully charged.
Katerina Teo –
Do you think the Aropec Candle Diving Torch would be suitable for use in extreme cold temperatures? Would it affect the waterproof feature of the light?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question about the Aropec Candle Diving Torch’s performance in extreme cold temperatures, Katerina. The torch is designed with waterproof features, including an o-ring to ensure a watertight seal. However, we recommend checking the torch’s performance in cold temperatures by reviewing the manufacturer’s data sheet. If you’re planning to use the torch in extreme cold, we suggest testing it in a controlled environment before exposure to such conditions. According to our information, the waterproof feature should still be operational within a reasonable temperature range.
