I recently purchased the Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit for a diving trip to the Philippines, and I’m so glad I did! It’s been performing flawlessly, keeping me warm and comfortable even in cold waters. The 3mm thickness is perfect for tropical waters, and the XS size fits me like a glove. I’ve already worn it for 5 dives and I haven’t had any issues with it. The only thing I wish it had was some extra storage for small accessories, but that’s a minor complaint.

I’ve been using this wetsuit on a regular basis for about a month now, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its quality and performance. It’s kept me warm and dry, even in colder waters than I’m used to. The material is durable and resistant to tears, and it’s easy to clean. The one thing I’m not fond of is the lack of flexibility in the arms – sometimes it makes it difficult to move my arms in tight spaces. However, overall it’s been a great purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable wetsuit.
Rahul Patel –
I was a bit disappointed with the wetsuit’s durability. After only a few uses, I noticed some minor tears and scratches on the surface. However, the warmth and flexibility of the wetsuit are still outstanding. I’m hoping that the manufacturer will improve their quality control.

I recently purchased the Scubapro Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit for a diving trip to the Great Barrier Reef. It was love at first sight! The bright orange color is not only visually appealing but also highly visible underwater, which is a great safety feature. The wetsuit is incredibly flexible and allowed me to move freely while diving.
Bernice Wong –
What do you think about the flexibility of the wetsuit’s arms? Does it make it difficult to move them while diving?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the Scubapro Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit. We understand your concern about the flexibility of the wetsuit’s arms. Our wetsuit is designed to provide flexibility while maintaining thermal protection, but some users may experience stiffness depending on the temperature and diving conditions. However, we recommend pre-dive stretching to help loosen up the material and improve mobility. Additionally, the wetsuit is designed for comfortable movement and maneuverability. We appreciate your feedback and would be happy to discuss further if you have any other questions.

Can I use the Scubapro Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit for surfing in warm waters?
Junhao Lo –
Hi Eliane, thank you for your question about using the Scubapro Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit for surfing in warm waters. This wetsuit is designed to be used in colder water conditions and has a thickness of 3mm, which provides excellent thermal insulation. While it’s technically possible to use it in warm waters, you might find it too thick and warm for that type of activity. We recommend checking the water temperature guidelines for our wetsuits, which are usually suitable for water temperatures between 14°C to 24°C. For warmer waters, we have other options that might be more suitable for you. Would you like me to recommend some alternative products?
Amanda Tan –
This wetsuit has exceeded my expectations! It’s comfortable, flexible, and provides excellent warmth in cold water. The construction is top-notch, and I’m impressed with the attention to detail. I would highly recommend this product to any scuba diver.

Tayyeb Singh –
Is there any way to improve the durability of the wetsuit’s material without adding too much weight?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review, Tayyeb! At Scubapro, we’re always looking for ways to improve our products. While the Thermal Tec 3mm wetsuit’s material is designed to provide excellent warmth and flexibility for divers, we understand the importance of durability and weight consideration. One potential way to enhance durability without adding excessive weight is to apply a thin, flexible coating to the material. This could help protect it from abrasion and wear. Additionally, we could explore using recycled materials or more sustainable manufacturing processes to maintain performance while reducing the environmental impact. We’d love to hear more about your experience with the wetsuit and any specific concerns you have about durability. Can you tell us more about how you’ve been using it?

What material is used for the lining of the Scubapro Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for sharing your question about the Scubapro Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit. The lining of our Thermal Tec wetsuits is made from a comfortable and quick-drying 80-gauge nylon material, providing flexibility and a snug fit. This lining fabric helps to reduce water entry and minimize bulk, keeping you warm and flexible while diving.

I recently purchased the Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit, and I’m absolutely delighted with it! It’s been keeping me warm and dry, even in cold waters, and the material is incredibly durable. The price was a bit steep, but I think it’s worth it for the quality and performance you get. Highly recommended!
Kymberleigh Wong –
Do you think the wetsuit’s material is resistant to scratches and abrasions?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question, Kymberleigh! The Scubapro Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit is made with high-quality materials that are designed to be durable and resistant to scratches and abrasions. The wetsuit’s neoprene material is thick and dense, making it less prone to damage. Additionally, the thermal tec lining provides extra protection against the elements. While no material is completely scratch-proof, we’ve had many customers find that this wetsuit holds up well to regular use. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask! And if you’d like to hear from other customers about their experiences with this product, feel free to check out the other reviews.
Zainulabidin Ali –
I’m not entirely happy with my purchase of the Thermal Tec 3mm Wetsuit. The material feels a bit stiff and unyielding, even after several dives, and the arms feel restrictive at times. The wetsuit is keeping me warm, but the lack of flexibility is starting to get in the way. Maybe it’s just an issue with the XS size, but for the price I paid, I was expecting more. Still, it’s a decent wetsuit and I would use it again with some reservations.
