It features a high and low setting on the left side of the first stage and a venturi control on the second stage that can be used to adjust the air flow. This allows you to tailor your breathing to suit specific diving conditions. However, it does not offer a precise airflow control like the first stage settings on some other regulators. For best results, we recommend referring to the user manual and consulting with a dive professional to ensure proper settings for your needs.

While it does not come equipped with a backup system, the primary regulator is extremely reliable and has been tested in various water conditions and at great depths. In the unlikely event of a primary regulator failure, the Poseidon Xstream 2nd stage regulator still uses a reliable poppet system and is certified to 200m/656 ft. In normal diving scenarios, a primary regulator failure is extremely rare. However, it’s always a good idea to have spares or backup gear available for emergency situations.
