Can someone please confirm if this wetsuit provides protection from jellyfish stings and aquatic weeds?? The last thing I need is a painful encounter with those creatures.

The Mares Reef – She Dives Wetsuit is designed for temperate water and provides protection from the elements, but we can’t guarantee protection from jellyfish stings and aquatic weeds. However, the thick, stretchy material can provide some level of cushioning against minor stings. It’s still always best to exercise caution when engaging in water sports and take necessary preventive measures to avoid encounters with jellyfish and aquatic weeds.

We’ve made sure to use environmentally-friendly materials and production methods to minimize our ecological footprint. As for care, our wetsuit is designed to be easy to clean and maintain. It’s recommended to rinse it with fresh water after each use, and you can use a soft brush to remove any dirt or debris. We also recommend storing it in a dry, well-ventilated area when not in use. The wetsuit is designed to use the thermal protection of a 3mm neoprene material which offers you flexibility and helps to keep your body warm in temperate waters. However, it might not be suitable for icy waters. If you’re looking for a wetsuit that can handle icy waters, I would recommend considering a thicker and full-body wetsuit.
