The Loop 15X features a more compact design and is designed for technical diving, with a higher intermediate pressure and a more efficient purge valve. In comparison, the Mares Prestige is designed for more recreational diving and has a more intuitive user interface.    Unfortunately, the Loop 15X did not live up to its hype. The high price was not justified by the slight improvement in performance. It’s reliable, but I’d expect more for over $1,400.
