The secret to our rashguard’s great sun protection lies in both the material and manufacturing process. Our rashguard is made from high-quality, quick-drying, and moisture-wicking materials that help to prevent the buildup of bacteria and fungi, which can affect the UPF rating. We use a special fabric treatment that helps to lock in the UPF 50+ protection, so you don’t need to worry about it fading after washing. That being said, we do recommend washing the rashguard in cold water to help extend the lifespan of the UPF rating and to keep the fabric in great condition. However, washing in cold water isn’t a permanent solution to maintaining the UPF protection – the treatment is designed to last through multiple washes.

I don’t know how I ever swam without it! This rashguard is my kid’s go-to for every swim session. The material is so soft and lightweight, and it dries super fast. One minor complaint is that sometimes the ink fades after multiple washes, but it’s not a deal-breaker.
