   The 6mm thickness offers fantastic heat retention, and the flexibility is surprisingly better than expected for this thickness. However, I had to wait a month for this product to arrive.

   What is the optimal water temperature for this wetsuit to maintain its insulating properties?

     Thank you for your question, Cecilia. The Mares Flexa Z-Therm Wetsuit is designed to provide excellent thermal insulation in cold water. For optimal performance, we recommend wearing it in water temperatures below 58°F (14°C). However, please note that individual tolerance to cold water can vary. If you need to dive in warmer waters, you may still use the wetsuit, but its insulating properties will not be as effective.

   This wetsuit is incredibly comfortable and has minimized water entry during my scuba dives. However, I once got a small tear on a particularly sharp rock and the repair was quite laborious.

   The durability of this wetsuit has been impressive, even after regular use over several months. I’ve experienced some minor issues with seal leakage, but they’ve been relatively easy to fix. Overall, highly recommended for its value and functionality!
