Kevin Chen –
The Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel is a solid product that performs well. Can anyone tell me why the top of the snorkel is slightly rounded?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your review, Kevin! The designers of the Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel rounded the top of the snorkel to improve its functionality and user experience. This rounded shape helps to reduce air turbulence and makes it easier to exhale through the special internal purge channel. This design also contributes to the snorkel’s ability to effectively drain excess water, as you mentioned it performs well. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns!
Michelle Ong –

Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Michelle. The Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel typically doesn’t require assembly. It comes ready to use, with the internal purge channel and the purge valve already in place. This allows you to dive in straight away. However, if you’re still unsure or have any other questions, feel free to ask us!

I recently purchased the Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel and I must say I’m impressed with its performance. The snorkel is well-made, durable, and reliable. It’s perfect for my snorkeling trips. I like how the purge valve is designed to prevent water from entering the snorkel.

It is clear that not enough research was put into designing the product.

What I look for in a snorkel? Can anyone tell me why this product is worth the investment?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel, Ashley. We completely understand that investing in a snorkel can be a significant decision. This product’s design serves several purposes. The internal purge channel located below the mouthpiece helps remove exhaled air efficiently, while the excess water drains through the bottom purge valve, making it easier to breathe while snorkeling. Additionally, the Imprex II Hyperdry snorkel is built with Hyperdry technology, which reduces water entry and enhances the overall snorkeling experience. If you’re willing, could you share what made you decide to give us 4 out of 5 stars? We’re always eager to understand how we can improve and provide the best snorkeling experience for our customers.
Samantha Lee –
The Imprex II Hyperdry snorkel is great for managing water buildup. Does anyone know why Tusa put the purge valve at the bottom?
Junhao Lo –
We’re glad you like the Imprex II Hyperdry snorkel’s ability to manage water buildup, Samantha! After double-checking our information, it seems that the purge valve is actually designed to be located below the mouthpiece to help drain excess water out of the snorkel efficiently. The internal purge channel located below the mouthpiece is a clever feature that separates the exhaled air from the water, making it a beneficial feature for snorkeling enthusiasts like yourself. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to ask!
Diana Tan –
Overall, I’m happy with the Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel. What do I like about this snorkel? The valve might need to be stronger.
Florence Tan –
The easy-breathing mechanism on this snorkel is so great! However, I’m a bit concerned about the long-term durability of the item. Can the Hypredry material withstand exposure to extreme sunlight or high water temperatures?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel, Florence. We appreciate your feedback on the easy-breathing mechanism. To address your concern about durability, the Hyperdry material used in our snorkel is specifically designed to resist water penetration and prevent fogging. While it’s difficult to predict long-term effects of extreme sunlight and high water temperatures, many of our customers have used the snorkel in various conditions without issues. That being said, we do recommend storing the snorkel in a shaded area or using a protective case when not in use. We appreciate your trust in our product, and we’re confident that it will serve you well.
Damaris Khoo –
I’ve tried several snorkels in the past, but the SP-580Q Imprex II Hyperdry is the best one yet! It’s so comfortable to wear and the breathing performance is top-notch. My only question is whether the materials used are BPA-free?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your review of the Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel! We’re thrilled to hear that you’re enjoying the comfort and performance of this product. Regarding your question about the materials used being BPA-free, we can confirm that the SP-580Q Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel is made from bisphenol A (BPA)-free materials. Our product information page also mentions this, but we’re happy to provide this assurance to you directly. We hope this answers your question and look forward to helping you with any other inquiries!
River Chen –
How do they prevent the internal purge channel from getting clogged with trash or saltwater particles?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review of the Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel, River. We’re glad to hear you’re satisfied with the product. The internal purge channel on our snorkel is designed with a few features that prevent clogging from trash or saltwater particles. Firstly, the channel is positioned below the mouthpiece, reducing the likelihood of debris entering the channel. Secondly, the channel is angled in such a way that water can drain out through the bottom purge valve, taking any debris with it. Finally, the snorkel is made from a corrugated material that allows for easy passage of water, making it difficult for particles to get stuck. We hope this information helps, and if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Ebastian Kho –
I’m a bit disappointed that there’s no color option for this snorkel. The SP-580Q Imprex II Hyperdry has a high-quality feel to it, but I wish it came in a variety of colors so that I can match it with my wetsuit. The snorkel performed well in the water, with easy breathing and minimal water entry.
Jacie Teo –
I recently used the SP-580Q Imprex II Hyperdry on a snorkeling trip to the Great Barrier Reef and it was perfect! The internal purge channel worked exactly as described, and I didn’t experience any water inhalation during my dives. The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is that the mouthpiece was a bit tight, but that’s a minor complaint.
Nur Fatin Azizah –
I recently purchased the Tusa Imprex II Snorkel for my dive trip to the Great Barrier Reef. The snorkel exceeded my expectations, the Hyperdry technology kept my mask dry throughout the dive. I loved how easy it was to clear water from the snorkel.
Fariz Hady Ibrahim –
What are the materials used for the snorkels construction?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out, Fariz. The Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel is constructed from high-quality polycarbonate and rubber. The polycarbonate provides excellent durability and resistance to impacts, while the rubber used in the snorkel’s mouthpiece and purge valve ensures a comfortable and leak-free fit. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!
Hanim Amalina Hassan –
The underwater diving experience with my Tusa Imprex II Snorkel was incredible. I appreciated the minimal effort to clear the purge valve.
Nurrizzah Wan Azira –
Does the snorkels internal architecture contribute to its high vacuum efficiency?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your question, Nurrizzah. Yes, the internal architecture of our Tusa Imprex II Hyperdry Snorkel does indeed contribute to its high vacuum efficiency. The special internal purge channel, located below the mouthpiece, separates inhaled air from exhaled air, allowing the snorkel to maintain a clear airway and reducing the risk of water entering the snorkel. This design helps to ensure a comfortable and safe snorkeling experience. Is there anything else you’d like to know about our product?
Akmal Aiman Mohamed –
I was slightly disappointed with the snorkels overall durability. The lid felt a bit flimsy and the base could be improved.
Abdullah Zakir Dahlan –
