This dive computer has exceeded my expectations. It’s so easy to use and the screen is great, but the function button is a bit stiff sometimes.
Eric Neo –
I recently experienced some issues with the dive planner feature, I think the software needs to be updated to ensure the most accurate calculations.
Daniel Wong –
This Suunto D6i Novo Dive Computer works wonders. My only concern is that it might be a bit bulkier than I anticipated, but the convenience it offers well makes up for it.

The Suunto D6i Novo has become my go-to dive computer for good reason – its sleek design and robust build make it a reliable choice for even the most rugged diving excursions. The air integration feature has saved me from running out of air multiple times, and the digital compass has always been spot on.
Rahul Singh –
The 3D digital compass is one of my favorite features in this dive computer, but is the compass gyro-based or magnetometer-based? I’m unsure what would happen in case of a compass malfunction?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your review, Rahul. We’re glad you like the 3D digital compass feature in our Suunto D6i Novo Dive Computer. The compass is gyro-based, which means it uses the watch’s internal gyroscopes to determine direction. This makes it more resistant to interference from external magnetic fields. While we take all possible precautions to ensure the compass functions as expected, in the unlikely event of a malfunction, the watch will continue to display altitude and depth information but may not provide accurate directional readings. We appreciate your attention to detail and hope this information helps. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Is there any upgrade to this product available? I’ve heard that other similar products have inbuilt GPS?! It has lovely aesthetics and works well under water, so I suppose it’s a top-notch product.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review of the Suunto D6i Novo Dive Computer! We’re glad you’re enjoying the aesthetic and performance of the device. Unfortunately, we do not have an upgrade to this product available yet. However, it’s worth noting that the Suunto D6i Wotation or wireless connectivity for some devices do support location information in certain situations. This doesn’t replace a dedicated GPS system, but can aid as a method of orientation. For more information on this feature, or any future product updates, we recommend checking our website regularly. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to ask.
Sarah Wong –
I’m pretty sure the Suunto D6i Novo is the ultimate dive computer, but I would love to know if it’s water-resistant up to 100m underwater? Will it still work at extreme depths? It looks so stylish and durable, though!
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your review, Sarah! I completely understand your concern about the water resistance of the Suunto D6i Novo Dive Computer. According to Suunto’s specifications, this device is designed to be water-resistant up to 30 meters (100 feet) without a wetsuit. It’s also ISO 6425 and US Military dive-computer standards compliant. It can handle depths up to its operating range, but excessive pressure may still cause damage. I recommend consulting the user manual and manufacturer’s website for more detailed information. By the way, the stylish design and durability are definitely great features to have!
Cyril Wong –
