I’ve been using the Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Wetsuit for a few dives now and I’m thoroughly impressed. The material is incredibly durable and the cut is flattering on my body. However, the only downside I’ve noticed is that it can take a while to dry after getting out of the water.
Zhong Wenliang –
The Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Wetsuit has been a great addition to my snorkeling gear. I love how lightweight and flexible it is, making it perfect for warmer waters. The chest zip entry is also a plus as it allows for easy on and off.

What is the recommended maintenance routine for the Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Wetsuit? I want to make sure it lasts me for a long time,
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for considering the longevity of your Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Wetsuit! To maintain it, we recommend rinsing it with fresh water after each use, storing it in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight, and avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals. Regularly cleaning and conditioning the wetsuit will also help prolong its lifespan. Have you found our care and maintenance tips helpful so far? We’d love to hear your feedback!

I love how versatile the Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Wetsuit is. I’ve used it for snorkeling, scuba diving, and even just lounging around the beach. The only drawback is that it can be a bit pricey,

Can someone please explain to me the difference between the 2.5mm and 3mm thickness? Is it just for colder water or are there other factors to consider? Would love to upgrade to a thicker wetsuit in the future.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out about the difference between the Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm and 3mm wetsuits! The main factor to consider is water temperature, yes, but also your personal comfort level and the activities you’ll be using the wetsuit for. A 3mm wetsuit will generally provide more flexibility in colder water, but may be less suitable for warmer conditions. Whether it’s for surf, snorkeling, or diving, think about what you’ll be doing most often. Would you mind sharing your preferred water temperature range and what activities you’d like to use the wetsuit for? That’ll help us give you a more accurate recommendation.

I’m thoroughly enjoying my Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Man! I’ve worn it three times already for surfing sessions. The material feels great against my skin, and it’s been keeping me warm without overheating me. My only minor complaint is that it’s a bit too tight in the arm area, but overall, I’m super stoked with this purchase. It’s been well worth the investment!

I’ve been using it for a week and I can already see a decrease in my wetsuit’s odor. The new neoprene is definitely a game-changer. However, I wish it had a few extra inches in length as the current length is a bit too short for me.
Zachary Tan –
The sizing chart on this wetsuit is quite accurate, especially in the chest and waist areas. However, I did find the cuffs a tad difficult to put on initially. But once I mastered it, I found the fit to be relatively comfortable and easy to move around in. My only suggestion would be to consider providing a more flexible cuff.

I’ve been using Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Man for a month now and I must say it’s been a huge improvement from my old wetsuit. The reduced weight and increased flexibility make it so much easier to paddle out and perform tricks. However, I’m still unsure if it provides enough insulation during extremely cold water conditions.

I’m not too sure about the sizing of this wetsuit. I ordered the small but it feels a bit tight on me. Is it normal for there to be a bit of stretch to it or should I consider exchanging it?
Imran Hanafiah –
Sorry to hear that the sizing of the Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Wetsuit feels a bit tight for you. Our wetsuits are designed to provide a comfortable fit, but some stretch is normal due to the neoprene material used. However, if it’s uncomfortably tight, we recommend exchanging it for a size that suits you better. Please feel free to contact our customer service team to initiate the exchange process.

What kind of additional technology is incorporated into this wetsuit that makes it more hydrodynamic?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your interest in our Seac Ciao Shorty 2.5mm Wetsuit. Our wetsuit is designed with a focus on flexibility and comfort, but we also incorporate some technologies to enhance its hydrodynamics. Although we don’t mention it in our product description, our wetsuit features a laminated construction that helps reduce drag and improve its overall performance in the water. This means you’ll experience a smoother and more efficient swim. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Rachel Koh –
Can you please explain how the 2.5mm thickness translates to better warmth compared to other thicknesses?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out and asking about the 2.5mm thickness of our Seac Ciao Shorty Wetsuit. The thickness of the wetsuit directly affects its insulation properties, and in this case, a 2.5mm thickness provides a great balance between warmth and flexibility. In comparison to thinner wetsuits, the 2.5mm thickness offers increased warmth by trapping more air between the suit’s layers, which helps to insulate the wearer. Similarly, compared to thicker wetsuits, the 2.5mm thickness provides improved flexibility, allowing for a full range of motion. This is particularly important for water activities like surfing or diving, where mobility is key. We hope this helps, and if you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
