However, please note that the recommended water temperature for this wetsuit is below 14°C (57.2°F). For water temperatures below 10°C (50°F), it’s highly recommended to wear additional thermal layers or a dry suit for optimal comfort and safety. The 3mm thickness of the suit provides excellent insulation, but it may not be sufficient for extremely cold water. It would be best to check the local diving conditions and recommendations from your dive master or instructor to ensure a comfortable and safe dive.

However, it can be suitable for freediving in certain circumstances. The 3mm thickness offers decent insulation, but it may not provide sufficient buoyancy for static apnea or dynamic apnea. For freediving, we recommend the Seac Body Fit 5mm Fullsuit or thicker, which provides better insulation and buoyancy. That being said, some freedivers have used the 3mm version for shorter dives in temperate waters. If you’re considering buying this suit for freediving, we recommend consulting with a freediving instructor or experienced freediver to assess the risks and suitability.
