Evelyn Singh –
I’ve been wearing the Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties for a few dives now, and I’m impressed with their comfort and warmth. The booties are well-made, and the 5mm thickness provides excellent insulation. I’ve tried them in a variety of water temperatures, and they’ve performed consistently.
Patrick Foo –
Will this bootie hold up well after frequent use? Is the 5mm thickness sufficient for cold water dives?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on the Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties, Patrick. The 5mm thickness is a great choice for cold water dives, as it provides the necessary insulation and protection for your feet. While the booties are designed to be durable, frequent use may still cause some wear and tear. To extend the lifespan, we recommend storing them in a dry place when not in use and avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures. We’ve had many customers report positive experiences with this product, but as with any diving gear, regular maintenance is key. Would you like some more advice on caring for your booties or have any other questions?

I’ve been using the Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties for a few weeks now, and I’m really pleased with their performance. They’re comfortable, warm, and provide excellent protection from sharp objects.
Kevin Ong –
Are the booties soft and flexible? Will they fit comfortably with dive socks?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your time to review our Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties, Kevin! We’re glad you loved the product enough to give it a 4-star rating. Our booties are designed to be comfortable and flexible, even when worn with dive socks. The 5mm thickness provides excellent flexibility while still offering insulated warmth. The internal neoprene lining is also carefully crafted to prevent chafing and irritation. However, please note that everyone’s comfort preferences and foot measurements are unique. If you’d like more information on the fit or have any specific questions, we’d be happy to help. Are there any additional factors you’d like to know about the Seac Basic HD Booties?

I bought the Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties for a few cold water dives, and they exceeded my expectations. The booties are well-made, warm, and provide excellent insulation. I’m very pleased with my purchase.
Vincent Lim –
Does the bootie have a secure fin strap to prevent them from drifting off during deep? Or do they have adjustable buckles for a precise fit?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for taking the time to review the Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties. We understand the importance of a secure fin strap when diving in deep waters. The Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties do indeed have a secure fin strap that prevents them from drifting off during deep dives. However, they do not have adjustable buckles for a precise fit due to their design. But they do offer a comfortable and snug fit to most divers’ feet.
Dominic Ng –
The Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties are a solid choice for cold water dives. They’re comfortable, warm, and provide excellent protection from sharp objects. However, the sole could be more flexible for better grip on rocky surfaces.
Daniel Lee –
Will the bootie break down or degrade after frequent use in saltwater?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us about your concern! The Seac Basic HD 5mm Booties are designed to withstand frequent use in saltwater. However, we do recommend rinsing them thoroughly after each use to prevent any potential degradation. Additionally, storing them in a dry place when not in use can help extend their lifespan. While we’ve had no major issues with booties breaking down, we’ve seen some slight discoloration on the material after prolonged exposure to saltwater. Nevertheless, this hasn’t affected the booties’ functionality or comfort. We encourage you to keep an eye on them and reach out to us if you notice any changes.
