Emily Ng –
I recently purchased the Thermal Tec 5mm for my wife’s anniversary gift. She tried it out for the first time and loved the warmth it provided during our dive.
Jasmine Chen –
I’m not sure if it’s just me but I find this thermal tec 5mm a little difficult to put on due to the zipper. Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm – Woman – XS, Jasmine. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear that you’re experiencing some difficulties with putting it on due to the zipper. This is the first time we’ve had a customer mention this issue. We’d like to offer our assistance in addressing this concern. Can you please provide more details about what you’re experiencing, such as the specific actions you’re taking and the outcome? We’ll do our best to help you and may even have a workaround or solution to share. Additionally, we’ll pass this feedback along to our product development team to see if there’s an opportunity to improve the design for future customers.
Linda Ho –
Has anyone else experienced the Thermal Tec 5mm losing its insulating properties after washing it multiple times? I’d love to know the secret to keeping it warm.
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm. We understand that our wetsuits can lose some of their thermal properties after multiple washes. To help maintain the insulating properties, we recommend washing it in cold water with a mild detergent, avoiding any fabric softeners or bleach. Also, it’s essential to dry it as soon as possible, away from direct sunlight. Avoid using a high heat dryer or ironing the wetsuit, as this can damage the neoprene. Have you tried these tips, Linda? We’d love to hear about your results. Can other customers also share their tips for keeping their Scubapro wetsuits warm and cozy?
Shirley Tan –
I’m really satisfied with my Thermal Tec 5mm purchase. However, I do wish it came in a larger range of colors.
Melissa Tan –
I’ve heard great things about the Thermal Tec 5mm. Does anyone know if it’s suitable for colder waters or is it just for tropical waters?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question, Melissa! The Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm wetsuit is designed for warm to temperate waters, but it can also be used in colder waters. However, please note that the 5mm thickness may not provide sufficient warmth for extremely cold water. It’s recommended to use it in water temperatures below 70°F (21°C). If you plan to dive in colder water, consider purchasing a thicker wetsuit or using a dive suit. Additionally, you can also consider the Thermal Tec 7mm wetsuit for colder waters.
Diana Wong –
I had some issues with this thermal tec 5mm. The stitching on the seam started to come undone after a few dives. It’s a shame really because it fits perfectly.
Sophia Wong –
I recently purchased this wetsuit and have been using it for a few weeks now. I’m really impressed with the warmth and flexibility it provides. It’s perfect for colder water conditions. I was a bit hesitant to spend this much on a wetsuit, but it’s been worth every penny.
Evelyn Lee –
What is the lifespan of this wetsuit? Can it be repaired or replaced if it gets damaged?

While minor damage can be repaired by our authorized service centers, more extensive damage may render the wetsuit unusable. However, if your wetsuit is still under warranty, you can contact us to initiate the replacement process. To inquire about warranty status or for repair options, please visit our website or contact our customer service team.

Rachel Chong –
Can someone with a larger bust size still comfortably fit into this wetsuit? How does it fit around the torso?
Imran Hanafiah –
Dear Rachel, thank you for reaching out to us about the fit of our Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm wetsuit. We understand the importance of a comfortable and secure fit, especially around the torso. Unfortunately, our XS size may not provide the necessary flexibility for larger bust sizes. However, we do offer other products that may better suit your needs. Our customer service team would be happy to help you find a more suitable option. Please feel free to contact us directly so we can provide a more personalized recommendation.
Emily Chen –
I’m really happy with this wetsuit. It’s warm, flexible, and the color is great. I’ve worn it on multiple dives and it’s held up well.
Amanda Leong –
What is the difference between this wetsuit and Scubapro’s other 5mm women’s wetsuits? Are there any significant differences in terms of warmth or flexibility?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Amanda! The Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm – Woman – XS wetsuit is designed to be one of the warmest wetsuits in our line, offering excellent thermal efficiency. It features our proprietary Thermal Dry technology, which provides unparalleled warmth even in cold water conditions. In comparison to our other 5mm women’s wetsuits, the Thermal Tec series has a more textured inner lining that enhances heat retention. We’ve also optimized the construction to reduce water entry and maximize warmth. However, I’d like to note that flexibility varies from person to person, and while some users find our wetsuits to be very flexible, others may find them slightly less so due to the added insulation. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to ask!
Isabella Ng –

Hannah Ong –
What is the weight of this wetsuit? Is it particularly heavy or light for its thickness?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your review of the Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm – Woman – XS! The weight of this wetsuit is approximately 6.5 pounds (2.9 kg), which is actually relatively light for its thickness. Our wetsuits are designed to provide flexibility and comfort while also providing warmth in the water. I hope this information helps, and I’d be happy to answer any other questions you may have! Have other users experienced similar weight issues with this product?
Ava Tan –
I recently wore this wetsuit on a dive and was really impressed with how warm and flexible it was. It’s perfect for colder water conditions.
Gabriella Wong –
Can someone with a smaller waist size still comfortably fit into this wetsuit? How does it fit around the waist?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question, Gabriella. The Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm – Woman – XS wetsuit is designed to fit smaller frames. However, it may not provide the best fit for someone with an extremely small waist size. XS waist sizing can vary across brands, but typically, it refers to a 24-26 inch waist size. If your waist size is significantly smaller than that, we’d recommend trying on the wetsuit before purchasing or consulting with our customer service team to find the best alternative.
Sofia Leong –

Julia Chua –
What is the recommended care and maintenance for this wetsuit? Are there any specific cleaning or storage tips?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for choosing the Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm wetsuit. To ensure the longevity and performance of your wetsuit, we recommend following these care and maintenance tips. For cleaning, gently rinse your wetsuit with fresh water after each use to remove any dirt or debris. For more thorough cleaning, a mild detergent and lukewarm water can be used, but we advise against using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. To dry your wetsuit, lay it flat on a towel or wrack it on a drying stand, ensuring airflow around each panel. Avoid exposing your wetsuit to direct sunlight or heat as this can cause fading or damage to the material. Regularly storing your wetsuit in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area will also help maintain its quality. For specific cleaning or storage tips in relation to neoprene materials like your wetsuit, please refer to our product care guide on our website. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions or concerns.

Charlotte Wong –
Can someone with a larger leg size still comfortably fit into this wetsuit? How does it fit around the legs?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Charlotte. We understand your concern about the leg size fitting of the Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm – Woman – XS wetsuit. Our wetsuits are designed to provide a comfortable fit for most body types. However, the fit can slightly vary between individuals. The XS size is our smallest female size option, designed to fit petite women with smaller frames. If you have a larger leg size, we recommend trying our XXS size or considering a custom-fitted wetsuit for a more tailored fit. If you need further guidance, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team.

I’m extremely satisfied with this wetsuit. It’s warm, comfortable, and looks great. I’ve already worn it multiple times and it’s still in great condition.
Emily Ng –
What is the thickness of this wetsuit in different areas? Is it particularly thick or thin in certain spots?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question about the Scubapro Thermal Tec 5mm wetsuit. The Scubapro Thermal Tec wetsuit is designed to be flexible and comfortable while providing warmth. It features a unique material that is thicker in certain areas to enhance warmth, such as around the torso and knees. However, it also has thinner areas to allow for greater flexibility and freedom of movement. The exact thickness of the wetsuit can vary depending on the specific area. We recommend checking the product documentation or consulting with a dive professional for more detailed information.
