Sarah Wong –
Does Scubapro Steel Mask suit divers who have sensitive nose due to cold water?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question, Sarah. The Scubapro Steel Mask is designed to be a low-volume mask, which can actually reduce the feeling of cold water in the nose. However, the effectiveness may still vary depending on individual sensitivity and water conditions. If you’re concerned about cold water sensitivity, I’d recommend trying our mask with a thin wetsuit or a neoprene diver mask skirt, which can help reduce cold water sensation.

I’ve had this mask for a while now and I can confidently say it’s one of the best I’ve ever used! The build quality is top-notch and the low-volume design is perfect for freediving.
Daniel Wong –
As a seasoned freediver, I can appreciate the attention to detail that Scubapro has put into this mask. The steel frame is incredibly sturdy and the silicone skirt seals perfectly.
Cecilia Ong –
Is Scubapro Steel Mask available in a bigger size? My nose tip seems to be a bit large for the regular size.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us about the Scubapro Steel Mask. We’re happy to inform you that Scubapro does offer various sizes in their masks, but it seems that the specific model ‘Steel Mask’ only comes in one size. However, we highly recommend checking out their other models that cater to different face shapes and sizes. If you could provide us with more details about your measurements, we’d be more than happy to suggest a suitable alternative. We value your feedback and would be happy to help you find a Scubapro mask that fits you perfectly.

Aaron Mah –
I’ve had issues with the silicone skirt coming loose over time. Not a major issue, but it would be nice if it were more durable.
Melissa Woo –
How easy is this mask to clean? I’ve had issues with other masks getting all crusty and full of bacteria.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question about the Scubapro Steel Mask. Cleaning this mask is relatively easy. We recommend washing it with mild soap and lukewarm water, and allowing it to air dry. Avoid exposing it to high heat or harsh chemicals, as this may damage the material.
Tristan Lopez –
Can you rent this mask out for a day or something? I’m interested in trying it out before I commit to a purchase.
Junhao Lo –
We offer a ‘Satisfyer Promise’ for our products, which means we’re confident that you’ll love the Scubapro Steel Mask. Unfortunately, we don’t have a rental option available at this time. However, we’re exploring different solutions to provide our customers with the opportunity to try out our products. In the meantime, you can consider buying this product at the regular price of $75.

Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for your question, Elaine. We appreciate your interest in the safety features of our Scubapro Steel Mask. Unfortunately, we do not have information on whether the mask meets the Breaking Strain Only (BSO) certification for its materials. Leia Ong –
What’s the recommended pressure to put on the mask when you’re not using it? I don’t want to cause any damage to the frame.
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Leia! For the Scubapro Steel Mask, it’s generally recommended to store the mask in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. However, if you do need to pack the mask, we recommend storing it in a ziplock bag or a soft case to prevent any pressure from affecting the frame. To be more specific, it’s recommended to not apply any pressure to the lens or the frame that could potentially cause damage. If you have any more questions or concerns, feel free to ask and other customers might also want to share their thoughts on this.
