Jazz Loh –
I’ve had a great experience with the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids so far. It’s great to have a reliable snorkel that’s easy to use and won’t let me down. My only gripe is that the mouthpiece could be a bit larger, as my mouth tends to cover the valve slightly.
Michael Tan –
How do you clean and maintain the dry snorkel’s valve? Is it a delicate process or something a kid can easily handle?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out, Michael. Cleaning and maintaining the dry snorkel’s valve is a simple process. For kids, it’s best to use mild soap and lukewarm water to rinse the valve. Then, use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub away any minerals or salt deposits. For a more thorough clean, mix equal parts of water and white vinegar in the valve. Swish it around, then rinse with lukewarm water. We recommend cleaning the valve after every use to prevent mineral buildup. For more information, you can refer to our product manual or contact our customer support team. We’re here to help!

We’ve used the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids on multiple snorkeling trips and it’s worked perfectly every time. Our kids love it, and it’s given them the confidence to explore the underwater world.
Rachael Lee –
Will the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids be as effective in cold water conditions? One thing I’d love to see is a specialized version for colder climates.
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for taking the time to review the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids! We appreciate your feedback on its effectiveness in cold water conditions. The Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids is designed to perform well in a variety of water temperatures, but we understand that cold water can pose a challenge. The dry top system works by preventing water from entering the tube during ascent or descent, and this functionality remains effective even in cold water. However, we can’t guarantee that it will be 100% efficient, as this depends on various factors such as water temperature, user technique, and snorkeling conditions. Regarding a specialized version for colder climates, we appreciate your suggestion and will consider it for future product development. In the meantime, our current design should still provide you with reliable performance in cold water conditions.

What makes this dry snorkel so unique is it’s patented dry top design. Does it really prevent water from entering the tube at 3.5m depth? I hope to find out soon.
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for taking the time to ask about the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids! Our patented dry top design has been rigorously tested to prevent water from entering the tube, even at depths of 3.5m. In fact, our internal testing has shown that this snorkel remains water-free at depths of up to 4m. We’d love to hear more about your experience with this snorkel once you’ve had the chance to use it. Also, feel free to share your thoughts and experiences with our snorkel with our community!
Emily Tan –
I’ve been using the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids for a few weeks now and I must say it’s been a game-changer. The design is sleek and compact, making it perfect for smaller hands. It’s also incredibly easy to use, even for kids as young as 5. I’ve taken it to multiple snorkeling trips and it’s performed flawlessly every time. Highly recommended!
Mai Nguyen –
I loved how portable and compact this snorkel is, perfect for kids! The dry-top system is so clever and efficient, it definitely made snorkeling a lot easier and less frustrating. My only minor complaint is that it can be a bit tricky to clear water from the lens when it gets foggy, but overall I’m super happy with this purchase!
Estelle Tan –
Does the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids come with a mouthpiece that can be replaced or is it a fixed part of the snorkel?
Junhao Lo –
We’re happy to help, Estelle! The Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids does come with a replaceable mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is designed to be easy to replace and can be swapped out if you ever need to. This makes it easier for kids to keep their snorkel in good condition.
Tessa Heng –
I was a bit skeptical about the quality of this snorkel at first, but it has exceeded my expectations! The materials are top-notch and the construction is solid. My kid has used it for several trips now and it still looks brand new. Well worth the investment!
Ian Fernando –
Can the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids be used for open-water diving or is it only suitable for snorkeling?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out to us about the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids. The Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids is designed for snorkeling purposes and is suitable for children due to its size and features. While it could be used superficially, it is not suitable for open-water diving. Our product description also mentions it is suitable for descents up to 3.5m, not for deep-sea diving. We recommend checking out our full-face snorkeling masks or other diving gear for more suitable options for open-water diving.
Alexandra Lee –
This snorkel has been my kid’s go-to for their snorkeling adventures recently and it’s been a total game-changer! The dry-top system is brilliant and the compact design makes it easy to take on the go. My only minor gripe is that the handle tends to come loose after repeated use, but a quick tighten fixes the issue.

What's the difference between the this snorkel and the standard Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for reaching out, Daisy. The main difference between the Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel – Kids and the standard Scubapro Mini Dry Snorkel is the size and design of the snorkel. The Kids version is specifically designed for smaller kids, making it easier for them to breathe and maneuver underwater. It’s also great for adults who prefer a smaller and more compact snorkel. Both models have the same patented dry top technology that prevents water from entering the tube during descent or on the surface.
