Elisa Ng –
Wah, I never thought I could navigate through the woods so easily with my new compass. How does it adjust itself to my surroundings? Is it using some sort of GPS technology?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Problue GU-1300 Compass with Retractor, Elisa! You’re right, this compass is designed to make navigation much easier. However, it doesn’t rely on GPS technology. The needle is magnetized to align with the Earth’s magnetic field, providing a clear direction. The adjustable declination setting also allows you to account for any local magnetic variations, helping you stay on course. If you have any further questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I’m really enjoying using this compass for my outdoor activities! I’ve tried it in several environments and it’s been accurate every time. But, I’m a bit concerned about the durability of the retractor. Will it withstand the elements if I leave it out in the rain?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you so much for your honest review, Julian! We’re thrilled to hear that the Problue GU-1300 Compass has been accurate in various environments. Regarding your concern about the retractor’s durability in wet conditions, our compasses, including this one, are built to withstand exposure to occasional rain and moisture. However, we do recommend keeping it dry to ensure optimal performance. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re always here to help.

This compass is amazing! The retractor is sturdy and keeps the compass at a comfortable length. I’ve used it in various conditions and it’s always performed well. My only suggestion would be to include a carrying case?

I’ve been using this compass for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s been a great addition to my outdoor gear. Does anyone know if it’s compatible with other Problue accessories?
Imran Hanafiah –

In fact, it’s part of our ‘Multi-Mount Technology’ series, allowing you to mix and match different accessories with ease. I’m really disappointed with the durability of the retractor. After just a few uses, it started to show signs of wear and tear. It’s also not very easy to adjust the length of the retractor. Overall, it’s an okay compass, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
