I was initially hesitant to purchase the Problue AC-37-13 due to its rather minimalist design. However, after using it for a few instances, I can attest that it does work effectively to reflect radar signals. My only minor gripe is that it does become quite heavy in water, which can make it a bit harder to maneuver. Nonetheless, I still rate this as 4.5 out of 5 stars. -Avery Pual

I purchased the Problue AC-37-13 specifically for safety purposes while sailing, but unfortunately, I didn’t get to test it during a crisis. What happens if the radar signal is weak or coming from an unusual direction? Will it still reflect effectively?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your feedback, Ben. I understand your concerns about the product’s performance in various situations. The Problue AC-37-13 Radar Signal Reflective Buoy is designed to reflect radar signals as a small vessel within a 500-meter radius. However, the effectiveness of the buoy may vary depending on the strength and direction of the radar signal. For weak signals or those coming from an unusual direction, the buoy may not reflect as effectively. But don’t worry, we have a 1-year warranty in case you need to use it in a real-life situation and it doesn’t meet your expectations. We’re always here to help. Would you like to discuss further how we can improve our products for better safety at sea?

My husband is a sailor and he’s been raving about this reflective buoy ever since he got it. He says it’s super easy to use and the quality is top-notch. However, there’s one tiny minor issue… The strap gets kinda loose over time, but a bit of adjustment and it’s all good. Absolutely a lifesaver on the water!
Eunice Tan –
Seriously wondering… Can this reflective buoy also be visible in low-visibility conditions, or are there any settings to adjust for improved visibility?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for taking the time to review the Problue AC-37-13 170cm (5.7ft) Radar Signal Reflective Buoy, Eunice. I’d be happy to help you with your question. The reflective buoy is designed to reflect radar signals even in low-visibility conditions, such as heavy fog or darkness. It does not require any settings to adjust for improved visibility. The reflective material used on the buoy is specifically chosen for its high visibility and reflectivity, even in harsh environmental conditions. However, please note that the reflectivity of the buoy may be affected by the surrounding environment, such as wave movements or surrounding vessels blocking the radar signal.
