I was a bit skeptical about the Poseidon Rebreather BCD at first, but after using it for a few dives, I’m very happy with the performance! The price might seem a bit steep, but I feel it’s worth it. One suggestion: add a built-in depth gauge?

Overall, I’m really enjoying my Poseidon Rebreather BCD. The display is easy to understand, and the setup process was a breeze. However, I wish the BCD was a bit more lightweight for long dives…
Zulhamri Baharom –
Is the Poseidon Rebreather BCD designed for both beginners and experienced divers? Are the lungs easy to clean and maintain? Has anyone had any issues with the weight system?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about the Poseidon Rebreather BCD, Zulhamri. Our BCD is designed to cater to both beginners and experienced divers, offering a user-friendly interface and adjustable features to suit individual preferences. The integrated exchangeable lungs are designed for easy maintenance and cleaning. To clean the lungs, simply remove them from the BCD and rinse with fresh water. We recommend regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance. What’s the typical lifespan of the Poseidon Rebreather BCD? Has anyone experienced any issues with the individual patch system? Are there any accessories that I should get alongside this BCD?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for your review of the Poseidon Rebreather BCD. The lifespan of our BCD can vary depending on how well it’s maintained and used, but on average, you can expect it to last up to 5-7 years. We’ve received some minor complaints about the individual patch system, but these issues were mostly resolved with a software update. As for accessories, we recommend pairing this BCD with a mid-water weight system and a dual-cylinder console for optimal performance.
Jamie Lim –
The Poseidon Rebreather BCD is an excellent choice for experienced divers! The Poseidon individual patch system is so intuitive and the rebreather technology is impressive. My only minor complaint is that it’s a bit pricey, but for the quality and performance, I think it’s worth it.
Kaitlyn Mohamed –
Is it designed for colder water diving? and can I use it for long-duration dives?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for reaching out to us about the Poseidon Rebreather BCD! We designed this system to be incredibly versatile and suitable for various diving conditions. The integrated exchangeable lungs and individual patch system help to maintain optimal performance, even in colder water. However, we do recommend using a heated wetsuit and a suitable cold water diving strategy to maximize the comfort and performance of the BCD. Regarding long-duration dives, the Poseidon Rebreather BCD is designed to support extended dives, but we do recommend following safe diving practices and adhering to local regulations. For more information, please refer to our product manual and consult our customer support team if you have any further questions.

Imran Hanafiah –
Dear Sofia, thank you for your inquiry about our Poseidon Rebreather BCD. It can be used for training purposes, as it is designed for advanced diving conditions and will help your students learn the intricacies of the equipment. Concerning maintenance, we recommend servicing the BCD every 50 dives, or at the end of each season, whichever comes first. Regular maintenance will ensure that the unit operates safely and effectively. For more detailed instructions, please refer to the user manual. We encourage you to ask if you have any further questions.
