Thank you for choosing the Mares Fusion Octopus. For optimal performance, we recommend cleaning the octopus after each dive and storing it in a dry place. It’s also essential to check the rubber facings for signs of wear and tear and replace them when necessary. As for specific maintenance, we recommend inspecting the valves and seals every 10 to 15 dives and replacing them if you notice any leaks or corrosion.

We’ve had numerous customers successfully use their Fusion Octopus with integrated wetsuits in cold water conditions, and the Twin Power System has withstood the stresses of these situations. However, we recommend ensuring the Octopus is properly maintained and seasoned with a cleaning solution before using it in cold water to get the best out of your gear.

The Twin Power System really makes a difference in terms of breathing effort and I feel more comfortable during long dives.
