I’m a bit disappointed with the Mares Dory Junior Mask & Snorkel Set. Although it’s well-made and comfortable to wear, the snorkel’s valve tends to leak slightly when my son inhales rapidly. This results in a bit of water entering the mask. Not a major issue, but it’s somewhat annoying. However, for the price, I suppose it’s acceptable. I might consider upgrading to a more advanced model in the future, but for now, this one serves its purpose.

Thank you for your question, Brendan. The Mares Dory Junior Mask has a contoured skirt and a one-click heel pocket to prevent water entry when snorkeling in turbulent conditions. Additionally, the silicone mask is soft and flexible, allowing for a comfortable fit. The snorkel is also designed with a splash guard to prevent water entry. As for flexibility in adjusting the length of the snorkel, it does have a sliding splasher that allows you to custom fit the snorkel to your mouthpiece. This way, you can adjust the length of the snorkel to suit your comfort level during long snorkeling sessions.
