Despite being only 0.5mm thick the Coral has good heat retaining qualities thanks to the Metalite fabric used on its inside. Can be worn under other suits or on tropical dives!

I’m impressed with the heat-retaining qualities of the Coral Wetsuit’s Metalite fabric. It’s perfect for cold water dives.
Tan Wei Ling –
I recently dove with the Coral Wetsuit in the warm waters of the Philippines, and I was pleasantly surprised by its performance. It’s an excellent choice for tropical dives.
Ling Er Wong –
I recently purchased the Mares Coral Wetsuit and I must say it’s been a game-changer for my tropical dives. The 0.5mm thickness is perfect for the warm waters of Southeast Asia.
Amy Seah –
Does the Coral Wetsuit have any built-in flex joints that allow for better mobility while diving?
Imran Hanafiah –
Hello Amy, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, our documentation does not explicitly mention flex joints in the Mares Coral Wetsuit. However, the Coral Wetsuit is designed to provide flexibility and comfort, making it suitable for tropical dives and dives where excess warmth is not a concern. The Metalite lining does help retain heat without restricting mobility. I recommend checking the manufacturer’s website or contacting their customer support for more detailed information on the suit’s design features.
Ting Lin Fong –
What happens if the Coral Wetsuit is accidentally torn during a dive?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you, Ting Lin Fong, for reaching out to us! We’re glad you’re interested in the Mares Coral Wetsuit – She Dives. Although the Coral Wetsuit is designed to be thin and flexible, it’s made with durable materials to withstand normal use. However, if it were to accidentally tear during a dive, we recommend inspecting the suit as soon as possible after surfacing and avoiding further use until it can be repaired. In the meantime, you can also consider carrying a temporary repair kit or a spare wetsuit with you. We take pride in our products’ quality, and we’re always happy to provide guidance on proper care and maintenance. We hope this helps, and we appreciate your feedback! Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
Siti Aishah Ismail –
I’m not sure about the durability of the Coral Wetsuit, as I’ve only used it for a few dives. Will it last for a long time?
Junhao Lo –
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about the Mares Coral Wetsuit – She Dives, Siti Aishah Ismail. We appreciate your feedback and concerns about the durability of the product. The Mares Coral Wetsuit is designed to be a thin, yet heat-retaining wetsuit, perfect for tropical dives or layering under other suits. While we can’t guarantee the product’s lifespan, many of our customers have reported using their Coral Wetsuits for extended periods without major issues. The heat retaining qualities of the Coral wetsuit are amazing! I’ve been wearing it under other suits and it’s been a game changer. But what’s with the lack of flexibility in the arms?
Imran Hanafiah –
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Mares Coral Wetsuit. We’re glad to hear that the heat retaining qualities have been a game changer for you! We understand your concern regarding flexibility in the arms. The Coral Wetsuit is designed to provide warmth, and the Metalite fabric may not provide the same level of flexibility as other materials. However, we would like to know more about your experience. Could you please provide more details about your concerns with the flexibility in the arms? This will help us to improve our products for future customers.
Emily Wong –
I tried the Coral wetsuit on my tropical dive and it was a hit! Kept me warm and dry throughout. One thing though, the zipper can be a bit finicky when putting it on and off.
Ava Ng –
The Coral wetsuit has been a lifesaver during my dives…get it? lifesaver? ahh nevermind. Seriously though, it’s so comfortable and easy to put on.

I’m loving the Metalite fabric used inside the Coral wetsuit! It’s so comfortable to wear. Would be great if it came in more colors though.
Lily Chew –
I’m not sure if I got a defective one or what, but the Metalite fabric inside the Coral wetsuit feels really cheap…
Haley Tan –
I’ve been looking for a wetsuit that’s thin yet warm, and the Coral delivers! Does anyone know if it’s suitable for cold water dives?
Imran Hanafiah –
Hi Haley, thanks for your review of the Mares Coral Wetsuit – She Dives. It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying its warmth despite its thin design. Unfortunately, the Coral Wetsuit is designed for tropical or warm water dives, not cold water dives. The Metalite fabric might not provide enough insulation for colder waters. However, it’s perfect for spring or fall dives in temperate climates or for wearing under other suits. If you’re looking for a wetsuit for cold water dives, our team would be happy to recommend other options. Please let us know if you need further assistance!
