   I recently purchased the Mares Abyss 22X Regulator and was initially impressed with its features and build quality. However, the second stage can be a bit difficult to adjust, but overall it’s a great regulator.

   What happens if I encounter any issues during a deep dive? Is there a backup regulator available? Does the Mares Abyss 22X Regulator have a user-friendly interface?

However, we do not recommend using a backup regulator without proper training and certification. That being said, the Abyss 22X Regulator is equipped with a user-friendly LPMP (Low Pressure Mares Precaptor) mechanism for a quick and easy purge, making it easier to breathe during an emergency.
