To answer your concern, our din cap is made from high-quality aluminum, which provides excellent durability and resistance to corrosion. While heavy rain may not directly affect the performance of the din cap, exposure to water for an extended period could potentially lead to rust or corrosion. However, we do have a powder-coated finish that helps to prevent rust. If you plan to use the din cap in harsh weather conditions, we recommend applying a waterproof sealant to provide extra protection. We don’t recommend dipping your Din Cap in wine or any other liquid to achieve a sealant smooth finish. In fact, this could damage the product. Instead, we suggest gently cleaning the Din Cap with mild soap and water, and then drying it thoroughly. This will help maintain its quality and functionality. It seems like it takes longer time to assemble. Does it really need a Torx driver?
