The Aropec Oral-Inflate SMB (1.1 m)—often called a safety sausage—is an essential piece of diver safety equipment, providing a clear visual marker on the surface when deployed. Crafted from rugged 210 D coated nylon, it withstands repeated inflations and contact with sharp corals or gear. A simple oral-inflate valve allows you to deploy it without a low-pressure inflator hose, while a large-diameter dump valve lets you quickly deflate and stow it back into its pouch.
Whether you’re drift diving in open water or making staged decompression stops, this SMB enhances both your visibility to surface vessels and your own situational awareness during ascent.
